Improved site terminal integration, CIAO updates, payroll enhancements, and more
We’re continuously improving Suivo based on customer feedback and regulatory changes. Here’s what’s new in the time registration module for 2026.
CIAO Updates
- Full CIAO enforcement support, the platform now reflects the post-transitional CIAO rules for the cleaning sector, including mandatory check-out and updated NSSO data fields
- Mixed CIAW + CIAO sites, sites where both construction and cleaning activities occur can now have separate registration flows per worker type, all in one dashboard
Site Terminal Improvements
- Faster badge recognition, terminal response time improved to under 1 second for badge scans
- Connectivity status indicator, terminals now display their connection status clearly, so site managers know immediately if there’s a network issue
- Multi-terminal dashboard, manage all site terminals across all sites from one admin view
Payroll Integration Enhancements
- AFAS bidirectional sync, employee master data now syncs from AFAS to Suivo automatically, reducing manual profile management
- Improved CLA rule engine, construction-specific overtime premiums now handle edge cases (split shifts, cross-midnight work) more accurately
- Export validation, the system now pre-validates payroll exports and flags potential issues before transmission
Construction-Specific Enhancements
- Geofence auto-configuration, when adding a new site with an RSZ number, the platform suggests a geofence boundary based on the site address
- Subcontractor compliance dashboard, see registration status for all subcontractor workers across all sites in one view, with red/green compliance indicators
- Limosa expiry alerts, automated notifications 14 and 7 days before a worker’s Limosa declaration expires

- 2027 mandatory time registration readiness, platform updates to support expanded requirements as legislation is finalised
- Enhanced reporting, new dashboards for project cost analysis and workforce utilisation
- Mobile app UX improvements, faster clock-in flow and improved GPS accuracy
