Where does my fleet actually drive? Did all our tools make it back to the depot? Why do my reports never show the same kilometres? If you manage vehicles, people or equipment, you probably ask yourself these questions every week.
With R26.09, our September release, we tackle them head-on. This update builds on a stronger, more stable platform and a future-proof architecture, and it brings visible improvements where you feel them most: compliance, reporting and daily operations. Below are the five biggest updates in our platform, followed by a set of smaller improvements that make the Suivo portal faster and smoother every day.
1. Field Insights: see where your fleet really goes
A heatmap per day, patrol, working hour or asset
Trip lists tell you what happened. The new Field Insights (Incident & Heatmap) shows you where it happened. The fleet heatmap colours the areas your vehicles and assets pass most often, so patterns become visible in one glance instead of hiding in rows of data.
Filter per day, per patrol or working hour, or per individual asset. Then take it one step further and compare periods and fleet groups side by side. Did the new route plan really cover the whole region? Is one team patrolling its zone more thoroughly than another? Field Insights gives you the answer on a map.
Why it matters: better coverage of your service area, smarter route planning and hard facts when you discuss performance with clients or teams.
2. Smart Departure Check: no more equipment left behind
An automatic departure check, straight to your smartphone
It happens on every job site: a drill, a laser level or a generator stays behind, and someone has to drive back to fetch it. That costs time, fuel and patience. The new Smart Departure Check puts an end to it.
Suivo compares the inventory in your vehicle at departure with the inventory on arrival. As soon as something is missing, you get an instant notification on your smartphone. The check runs automatically, based on the tags on your equipment, so nobody has to scan, count or tick boxes.
Why it matters: fewer lost tools, fewer extra trips and less downtime. Equipment tracking that works for you, not the other way around.
3. Scheduling: plan with multiple capacity types per vehicle
Weight, volume and pallet spaces, all at once
A truck is rarely “full” on just one figure. Sometimes the weight limit comes first, sometimes the volume, sometimes the number of pallet spaces. Until now, planners often had to pick one figure and keep the rest in their head.
With R26.09, Suivo Scheduling supports multiple capacity types per vehicle. You combine weight, volume and pallet spaces at the same time, and the planning respects all of them. The result: realistic plans, better-loaded vehicles and no surprises at the loading dock.
Why it matters: higher load efficiency, fewer extra rides and vehicle scheduling that matches how your logistics really work.
4. Time registration: surcharges straight from the Time Logger
From clock-in to payroll, without manual corrections
Night shifts, weekend work, on-call duty or heavy jobs: surcharges are part of daily life in many sectors. Processing them, however, often means extra forms and re-typing for HR.
In the Time Logger, employees now simply select the applicable surcharge when they clock in or out. Once HR approves the registration, the surcharge flows straight through to payroll. No separate paperwork, no double entry and far fewer errors.
Why it matters: correct pay for your people, less administration for HR and time registration that is ready for stricter working-time rules.
5. Vehicle data: one truth for every odometer reading
One uniform source for reports, maps and APIs
A report shows one kilometre reading, the map another, and your API integration a third? That discussion is over. You now set the primary odometer source per vehicle, and from then on every report, map and API uses exactly the same data.
One number, everywhere. That makes maintenance planning, mileage invoicing and cost reporting a lot more reliable, and saves you from debates about which figure is the right one.
Why it matters: trustworthy vehicle data as the foundation for every decision about your fleet.
6. Short updates
- Multiple PTOs on one vehicle: operating hours for several power take-offs (think crane, pump or tipper) are now registered and presented clearly side by side. Handy for maintenance and for charging machine hours correctly.
- Suivo Satellite with improved indoor positioning: the Suivo Satellite has been updated for more accurate indoor positioning, so you also know where your assets are inside warehouses, depots and buildings.
- Performance boost for the Suivo portal and reports: heavy pages and reports no longer hang, calculate considerably faster and recover automatically after a time-out.
